For Whom Does the Worm Turn?
As the discussion (45 minutes give or take) meandered through topics–one that came up which is one I have often thought about–and even from time to time have asked about was why do dominant women openly seek out “worms” to serve them. It seems so counter intuitive.

D/s misogyny/client and just what do we expect?
so this morning as i was doing my commute, i cruised over to my Mistress’ blog (http://www.kinkinthecity.blogspot.com) because i kind of had a feeling that She was going to write a blog about misogyny. She and i had a pretty in-depth discussion about it last night–and whether it exists, whether is prevalent.
since its my blog, i get to recap–and the upshot is that Mistress believes most subs are truly misogynists at heart because its their expectation that they see a Domme as a mean to their own end. Mistress, i should mention is a retired pro-Domme and i certainly do not discount Her outlook on this-in fact my guess is She is right.
my issue though is that its a very unique subset of the male population She is taking aim at–its the males who seek out sex workers who generally could not get anything on their own. i call it the dungeons and dragons crowd.
this came to discussion after Mistress and Her friend, Mistress Veronica (check out Mistress Veronica’s blog in the right rail) spent saturday night at paddles in nyc. my guess is anyone reading this knows paddles, if you don’t www.google.com.
feel free to read in more about their evening here http://kinkinthecity.blogspot.com/2008/10/humiliation.html.
the upshot though is that Mistress was out to have some fun (i was home sick
). and Mistress encountered “subs” who professed their desire to serve-but not to serve Mistress, rather to serve their desires, and have Mistress be a part of their experience. now i would call these people clients, rather than subs.
Mistress had a bunch of fun, questioning the manhood of several people–and i think rightly so pointing out that to be a sub its important to know the core is that Mistress needs to be served, satisfied and enthralled–and only through that does the sub derive their pleasure.
one of the better stories was as Mistress and Mistress Veronica were relaxing-feet up on a nice couch one would be suitor wanted to be a foot stool. Mistress asked how that would better Her (tip: it wouldn’t). Mistress offered to whip the sub, instead the sub countered with a light spanking. probably not a good fit.
personally, i don’t think these were misogynists though-these were clients-looking to session for the price of a drink at paddles and admission.
to be honest, its not the face i would want put on subs. i am very happy to be in service (and in love with) to my Mistress. it is an honor to be able to serve Her–and i would move mountains to make Her life better.
but hey, thats just me-because i am a sub, not a client.
